The Legion of Mary is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church, with well over 3 million active members in almost every country of the world. It has been active in the United States since 1931, has been approved by many Popes, and was endorsed by the Second Vatican Council.
The primary purpose of the Legion of Mary is to lead people to Jesus Christ so they can benefit from the love and mercy of God. Specifically, the Legion of Mary seeks to lead the people we encounter in our works to a greater knowledge and faith in God and to increase the faith and holiness of our own members through prayer and service to Our Lord. he first meeting of the Legion of Mary took place in Myra House, Francis Street, Dublin, Ireland, on 7 September, 1921.
Most common works for the Legion of Mary include door to door evangelization, nursing home visitation, prison ministry, teaching RCIA and other religious education classes, visiting new parishioners and parish families with newly baptized babies, counseling at Abortion Facility, crowd contact and distributing Catholic literature, bringing the Pilgrim Virgin statue of the Blessed Mother to houses to consecrate them, and Enthronements of homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The Legion of Mary at Immaculate Heart started in March 13, 2004 and currently has 7 active members.

Instructions for Enthroning the Sacred Heart of Jesus in your Family
1. Print copies of the Ceremony, a Sacred Heart and an Immaculate Heart image. You can print images in 2 sizes from these locations: 8x10 and 5x7.
2. Find frames and place them in a prominent place in your home. If possible, obtain candles and flowers to surround the images.
3. The head of the household will begin the ceremony with a brief talk on the importance of the Sacred Heart Consecration. You can describe the 12 Promises of Jesus to those who devote themselves to his Sacred Heart.
4. Follow the prayers in the ceremony print out starting with the Apostle's Creed.
5. Encourage the family to consider completing a set of First Fridays when daily Masses are open again.
6. Renew the consecration regularly.
